Cancellations

A 100% refund will be granted for registrations cancelled at least two weeks prior to course start date. A 50% refund will be granted for registrations cancelled at least one week prior to course start date. Refunds will not be granted after one week prior to course start date.

Registrations are not transferable.

The University of Toronto reserves the right to cancel events. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date in the event of a cancellation. Registration fees for events cancelled by the University will be refunded in full; however, the University will not be liable for any loss, damages or other expenses that such cancellations may cause.

ACCREDITATION

This course has been approved as a Category 1 course by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Full participation of this course will grant up to 3 CE points. (For more information, please see the RCDSO’s website.)

Speaker

Dr. Bhalla is a highly qualified and experienced dental professional specializing in Dental Anesthesiology. He is a Board-Certified Specialist in Dental Anesthesiology and holds the prestigious Diplomat status from the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology. In 2008, he became the first individual in Canada to achieve this certification from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Bhalla has a strong academic background and has made significant contributions to dental education. He served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Dental Anesthesia. Prior to that, he held an Assistant Professorship at the same university, further showcasing his expertise and dedication to the field. At MM Family and Sleep Dentistry, Dr. Bhalla’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safe sedation of both children and adult patients. To provide the highest level of care, he has undergone additional training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for children and Advanced Cardiac Life Support for adults. These certifications demonstrate his commitment to maintaining the well-being of patients throughout the sedation process.

Furthermore, Dr. Bhalla places great emphasis on continuous learning and professional development. He actively engages in lifelong study and continuing education to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental anesthesiology.
