This program will review how basic dental knowledge not only helps protect smiles, but also possibly patients' lives. Every dentist has a role in recognizing suspected cases of abuse and domestic violence. It is important to know what to look for because all dentists have a legal role & responsibility under mandated local, provincial and national laws & acts to report such cases to the proper authorities.Ā
