ACDE Webinar Series

ACDE (Association for Continuing Dental Education)

The Association for Continuing Dental Education (ACDE), along with 37 of its member schools, is jointly providing a series of live webinars. This series features university-based key opinion leaders presenting numerous topics on multiple dates and times. Presentations are available to meet every dental professional’s schedule and interests.

Course Description

This lecture provides a practical, easy-to-follow overview of how modern dental restorations can be created using a combination of digital design, 3D printing, and molding techniques. Participants will be guided through the full workflow, from choosing appropriate cases and capturing accurate scans, to designing restorations digitally, fabricating guides with 3D printing, and completing restorations using injection molding. Real clinical cases will be used throughout to illustrate each step, helping attendees connect the process to everyday practice and patient care.

  • Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

    • Understand how to select appropriate cases and gather accurate digital records for a predictable workflow.
    • Describe the step-by-step process of designing and fabricating restoration guides using digital tools and 3D printing.
    • Recognize how injection molding integrates with digital workflows to produce efficient, high-quality clinical outcomes.
  • This webinar will be held on Zoom.

Instructions will be sent to you by email closer to the course start date on how to access the Zoom meeting.
