Course Description
As a general practitioner, you should be able to care for most of the kids in your practice, without having to refer them out to the pediatric dentist across town. Taking care of your kids should be fun and stress free. Learn how with the most up to date methods and techniques for intra-coronal restorations, primary dentition full coverage, pulpotomies and more. Step by step instructions will be provided to help you become a superstar with the kids and parents in your practice. As Benjamin Franklin said “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” In this course, you will be involved. You’ve heard it before – treat your kids well and your practice will soar.

Please arrive within 30 minutes before the course start time to sign in.
Staff will be available at the Faculty of Dentistry’s Edward St entrance to admit participants into the building as this building is not open to the public. If you arrive too early, you may need to wait until staff arrive.

Hands-on materials and equipment are provided for participants to use in the course.

Instructor
Dr. Cohn is a general dentist, devoted solely to the practice of dentistry for children. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991 and then went on to complete a post-graduate internship in Pediatric Dentistry. Since then, Dr. Cohn has devoted herself to the care and treatment of children only. She maintains a private practice at Kids Sleep Dentistry Winnipeg and Kids Dental in Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Cohn is a partner, and has surgical privileges at Western Surgery Centre, a private surgical clinic. In addition to private practice, she is a part time clinical instructor, in Pediatric Dentistry at her alma mater, Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba.
