Course Synopsis

THIS COURSE WAS RESCHEDULED FROM FEBRUARY 8 TO NOVEMBER 22, 2019!

This dynamic educational lecture/workshop focuses on the practical application of minimally invasive restoration into your dental practice. Attendees will learn how to use new materials and technologies to preserve tooth structure and provide affordable, life-enhancing treatments for their patients.

During this fast-paced course, attendees will learn about biomechanical function and preservation of tooth structure during bulk filling, bonding and composite restoration procedures. Minimally invasive concepts and methods are explored using a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises in three modules.

Learning Objectives:

• Module 1: Dentin substitution using a biomimetic bulk-fill composite material (tooth #3, MOD-LI, class II)

• Module 2: Placement of a pre-fabricated direct composite veneer (shade A1/B1, tooth #8)

• Module 3: Freehand restoration using a next-generation universal submicron composite (anterior class IV, tooth #9), matching veneer placed in Module 2

Each hands-on module is instructor-guided using easy to understand, step-by-step instructions.
