
Course Description
The purpose of this half day course is to educate the general dentist on common and clinically relevant diagnoses of patients related to the Heart and/or Cardiovascular systems. Community prevalence and associated medical and dental complications will be explored. Participants will be exposed to techniques, supported through literature, on how to clinically assess, stratify risk and provide risk mitigation for these common patients. Speaker
Dr. Prince is a Dentist Anesthesiologist who primarily works in private practice throughout Ontario while is also a part-time clinical instructor at U of T. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario and completed the Graduate Dental Anesthesia Specialty Program at the University of Toronto while acquiring his Master of Science (M.Sc.).
