Course Description
Parenteral moderate sedation includes a number of routes of administration for sedative agents, including intranasal administration, intramuscular injections, and the intravenous route. The current Standard of Practice from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) will be reviewed carefully to help attendees provide sedation services to their patients in a manner that complies with the described rules. Details will include patient monitoring, recordkeeping, and troubleshooting. Much of the work will be done through the presentation of scenarios.
